I’m going to show you how to grill boneless pork chops that are moist and delicious. Pork chops can be a tough item to cook and grill. Of all the different chops available the boneless are the most lean, so they will have a tendency to dry out if not grilled properly.
When choosing a pork chop try to go with one that is at least 1 inch thick; at this thickness they are less likely to dry out during grilling. One thing that helps a lot for grilling these lean cuts of meat is brining. Brining is just basically marinating the meat in a salty solution. This helps it to remain moist while grilling.
Set up your gas or charcoal grill for direct grilling over high heat. Once you’ve brined or seasoned your pork chops to your liking, place them on the oiled grate over the heat source. Depending upon the thickness of your boneless pork chops you will want to grill them for 4 to 7 minutes per side turning only once. You can test for doneness using an instant read thermometer like the one I use.
Once the pork chops are done, transfer them to a plate and let them rest for a few minute prior to cutting.
This is a simple method on how to grill boneless pork chops that are both moist and delicious. Try out different marinades and brines to really add a unique twist to your pork chops as well.
