This is a very simple grilled recipe, and if you love your foods with a bit of zip, you are going to like this one.
Easy Grilled Buffalo Chicken Burger Recipe
Here is what you will need:
1 3/4 lb Ground Chicken
1/4 Cup Buffalo wing Sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1 – 3 Drops Red Pepper Sauce
6 Burger Buns
6 Green leaf lettuce leaves
1/4 Cup Blue Cheese Dressing
1/4 Crumbled Blue Cheese
Set up your gas or charcoal grill for direct grilling over medium heat.
While your grill is warming up, take a large mixing bowl and combine the ground chicken, Buffalo wing sauce, red pepper sauce, and salt. Make sure you mix it together evenly.
Once you’ve got that mixed up well form into 6 patties that are about 1/2 inch thick and 4 inches in diameter. A simple way to make perfect patties is to use one of these burger presses.
When your grill is ready and you’ve formed all your patties, place them on the grill right over the heat source. Cover the grill and cook for about 10 to 12 minutes, flipping once half way through. The temperature should be 165F when they are done. I use an instant read thermometer like this one.
While the burgers are grilling in a small mixing bowl, combine the blue cheese dressing with the blue cheese crumbles. Mixing them together well, we will be using this to top the burgers.
Once the burgers are done, pull them off the grill and start assembling. Place a piece of lettuce and a patty on the bottom of each bun, then top with the blue cheese dressing mixture and the bun tops.
There you go, a simple recipe for grilled Buffalo chicken burgers that are really tasty. Enjoy!
