Today we are going to show you how to make Grilled Pork Cutlets with Zesty Maple Glaze.
The pork cutlets are great. The maple syrup and chili power glaze give it a great flavor. We also brine the pork tenderloin, so it says moist and delicious.
Enjoy!
Grilled Pork Cutlets with Zesty Maple Glaze
1 lb. pork tenderloin
4 cups water
4 tbsp salt
3 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp chili powder
vegetable oil
In a large bowl combine the water and salt. Mix until dissolved. Place the pork tenderloin in the salt water and make sure that it is completely covered with the brine. Place in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
Remove the pork from the brine and cut it diagonally into cutlets about 3/4 inch thick. Using a rolling-pin or kitchen hammer flatten the cutlets until they are about 1/4 inch thick. Here is the kitchen hammer I use. Dry with a paper towel and season with a bit of salt and pepper.
In a small bowl combine the maple syrup and chili powder. Mix well and set aside.
Set up your gas or charcoal grill for medium-high heat.
Brush the pork tenderloin with a bit of vegetable oil then place it on the grill. Cook for approximately 3 to 4 minutes. Brush with the maple syrup glaze and grill for 15 seconds more on both sides.
Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
