Today we are going to show you how to make Parmesan Burgers.
These are really good cheeseburgers. We mix these with a bit of Parmesan and steak sauce. We also use spaghetti sauce, yup spaghetti sauce.
What is also different about this one is, instead of using hamburger buns, we use English muffins. Be sure to also check out my tips on how to grill hamburgers.
Enjoy!
Parmesan Burgers
1 lb ground beef
1/3 cup steak sauce
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup spaghetti sauce
4 slices Mozzarella cheese
4 English muffins, toasted on the grill
Using a medium mixing bowl combine the ground beef, Parmesan cheese, and 3 tbsp of steak sauce. Once mixed well together form them into 4 equal sized patties. Use one of these to easily make burger patties. It also works great for making stuffed burgers. Place in the refrigerator to chill.
In a small bowl combine the remaining steak sauce and spaghetti sauce. Set aside.
Set up your gas or charcoal grill for medium heat.
Grill the burgers for 4 minutes per side, flipping only once half way through. When there is approximately 2 minutes left place a slice of mozzarella cheese on each burger, and toast the English muffins.
When done, spread a some of the steak sauce, spaghetti mixture on the bottom of each English muffin. Place the burgers on top and add the remaining steak sauce mixture. Add the English muffin top and serve.
