Today we are going to show you how to make Grilled Thai Chicken Satay.
I’m a huge fan of Thai food because it has spice and huge flavor.
This chicken satay recipe is quick and easy. Serve this one with peanut sauce, which you can make homemade or find in the Asian section of your local grocery store.
Enjoy!
Grilled Thai Chicken Satay
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into 1/2-inch strips
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
2 green onions, minced
1/4 tsp red chili flakes
Skewers
Peanut sauce
In a large mixing bowl combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, greens onions, and red chili flakes. Mix well.
Add the chicken strips into the mixture, cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
Set up your gas or charcoal grill for medium-high heat.
While the grill is warming take out the chicken and slide one piece on each skewer.
Place the skewers on the grill and cook for approximately 3 to 4 minutes per side. Make sure to watch the chicken so you do not overcook it.
Once it is finished remove from the grill and serve with peanut sauce.
