7-Bone Roast
The 7-bone roast also known as a chuck roast is a cut of beef from the chuck section of beef cattle. It gets its name from the 7 shaped bone which it contains. There is also a 7-bone steak, which of course is thinner.
This is a rather tough cut of meat that is best slow cooked. Many will use it for pot roasts, but it is also good grilled, or smoked at a low temperature over several hours.
