Tri-Tip
Tri-tip is a cut of beef from the bottom sirloin section of the beef cattle. It is a triangular cut of beef that is usually about 1.5 to 2.5 pounds.
It used to be that this cut of beef was ground into burger or cut into steaks, but now most people will roast, or grill it. It is also really good on a rotisserie, or smoked. After it is done grilling, it is typically sliced across the grain. It is a really tasty cut of beef.
After you are done grilling your tri-tip you will need to carve it, and that calls for a good carving knife. Here is the carving knife that I use, it’s a really nice one.
