Sirloin Tip Roast
The sirloin tip roast is a cut of beef from the sirloin section of beef cattle. It connects to the bottom sirloin steak. It is a tougher cut of meat that benefits from cooking or grilling low and slow. This helps to keep the moisture inside so it becomes tenderer.
If you grill definitely do it low and slow. Other methods for cooking this roast are oven roasting, and cooking it in a slow cooker. All of these methods help with making this cut a little more manageable.
If you are going to cook a sirloin tip roast, you will want a good carving knife. Here is the carving knife I use.
