Sirloin Steak
Sirloin steak is a cut of beef from the sirloin section of beef cattle, which is the rear back portion. The sirloin is divided into several different cuts of steak: top sirloin, bottom sirloin, and sirloin tip roast.
The top sirloin is the best cut, the bottom sirloin isn’t as tender, and it is usually a larger cut of meat. At your local market you will see the bottom sirloin usually marked as a sirloin steak. The bottom sirloin steak is connected to the sirloin tip roast.
If you are having a sirloin steak, you need a good steak knife. These are the steak knives I really like.
