What is the Difference between a Pork Tenderloin and a Pork Loin?
The pork tenderloin is cut from the full loin of a hog. As you can guess it is the most tender cut of pork. It is a great cut of pork to cook on the grill. Many times you can find them at the supermarket prepackaged in marinades. If you take the pork tenderloin and slice it crosswise it makes perfect medallions for sautéing.
Pork tenderloin has a pretty mild flavor so it a good idea to marinate it or add spice. It doesn’t have much fat going through it so you do need to be careful not to overcook it.
