Bottom Sirloin Steak
The bottom sirloin steak is a cut of beef from the sirloin section of beef cattle. Often times at the grocery stores you will see it labeled as a sirloin steak. The sirloin section is divided into three main sections, the top sirloin, tenderloin, and bottom sirloin. The bottom sirloin is not as prized or tender as the top sirloin, but it can make for a decent steak if you grilling it longer at lower heat. The bottom sirloin is often ground for use in burgers.
