I love shrimp on the grill, and this recipe is so tasty. It uses some cayenne and cilantro to give the shrimp a boost of flavor.

New Orleans Grilled Shrimp
5 lb. medium shrimp, in shell
5 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed
1/2 cup olive oil
2 tbsp black pepper
2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp sea salt
1 lemon, juiced
1 lime, juiced
1 tbsp cilantro, chopped
Using a large mixing bowl combine the garlic, olive oil, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and sea salt. Add in the lemon juice, lime juice, and cilantro at this time too.
Mix in the shrimp. Make sure they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Set up your gas or charcoal grill for medium-high heat.
It is best to use a grill basket or skewers for the shrimp so they don’t fall through the grate.
Grill for approximately 4 to 6 minutes per side.
Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
