Today we are going to show you how to make Marinated Grilled Salmon.
Salmon is one of my favorite fishes to grill. I just think it has so much flavor. Make sure you pick out fresh fillets, because it makes all the difference in the world.
This recipe uses a simple soy sauce and brown sugar marinade which makes these fillets taste so good. If you are new to grill fish fillets, you will want to check out my post on how to grill fish fillets.

Marinated Grilled Salmon
1 1/2 lbs salmon fillets
lemon pepper to taste
garlic powder to taste
salt to taste
1/3 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
In a small bowl mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, water, and vegetable oil until the brown sugar is completely dissolved. Set aside.
Season the salmon fillets with the lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Put the fillets into a resealable storage bag and add the brown sugar marinade mixture.
Seal the storage bag and turn it several times to ensure that the salmon gets well coated. Place it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours, but preferably overnight.
Set up your gas or charcoal grill for medium heat.
Once the grill is heated place the salmon on the grate. Grill for approximately 6 minutes per side. The salmon will flake easily with a fork once it is done.
