Today we are going to show you how to make Grilled Teriyaki Chicken.
This is a very simple recipe that is big on flavor. If you are looking for a change from your typical grilled chicken, this is one to try.
Grilled Teriyaki Chicken
2 whole chicken breasts, boneless, skinless
1/4 cup light soy sauce
1/4 cup dry sherry
2 whole Garlic cloves, minced
1/2 tsp dried red pepper flakes
Place chicken breasts into a resealable plastic storage bag. Combine remaining ingredients pour over the chicken. Seal the bag and place in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
Setup your gas or charcoal grill for direct cooking over medium-high heat.
Place the chicken on the grill saving the rest of the marinade. Grill the chicken for approximately 5 minutes per side, basting once on each side with the marinade you saved.
Remove from the grill and serve.
Optionally you can use the rest of the marinade as a dipping sauce. To do so you MUST boil the remaining marinade. Bring remaining marinade to a boil in a saucepan and serve as a dipping sauce for the chicken.
