Today we are going to show you how to make Grilled Sweet Potatoes.
Vegetables on the grill are great, and these sweet potatoes are really good. It is a simple way to make potatoes on the grill, and combined with the glaze these sweet potatoes are awesome.
This is a perfect side dish for any cookout.

Grilled Sweet Potatoes
4 lbs sweet potatoes
4 tbsp molasses
1/2 orange, juiced
1 tbsp unsalted butter,room temp
1 pinch allspice
salt and pepper to taste
Peel and slice the sweet potatoes lengthwise. Slice them into about 1/2 inch slices. Cook cover in salted boiling water for about 10 minutes. The potatoes should still be a bit firm. Drain and cool to room temperature.
Mix together the molasses, juiced orange, butter, allspice, salt and pepper. Set this glaze aside.
Set up your gas or charcoal grill for medium-high heat.
Place the potatoes on the grill. Cook for about 3 minutes per side. After both sides have been grilled, brush with the glaze and grill for another 30 seconds per side.
