Today we are going to show you how to make Grilled Marinated Mushrooms.
I’m a big fan of grilled vegetables, but this time we are just making mushrooms. The marinade for these add a ton of flavor to the mushrooms.
It is such a quick and easy recipe. If you are a fan of mushrooms, you’re going to like this one.
Enjoy!
Grilled Marinated Mushrooms
2 lbs fresh Mushrooms
2/3 cup Red Wine Vinegar
1/3 cup Olive Oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 clove Garlic, crushed
Grated Parmesan Cheese (optional)
Clean the mushrooms with a dry paper towel, then remove the stems. Cut the stems into thick slices and put them along with the caps into a resealable storage bag.
Using a small mixing bowl, combine the red wine vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic. Pour this mixture over the mushrooms and seal the bag. Allow it to marinate for about an hour or 2 in the refrigerator.
Set up your gas or charcoal grill for medium-high heat.
Remove the mushrooms from the marinate and place onto large pieces of aluminum foil and season with a bit of black pepper. Seal the foil into packets. You can make one large packet or a couple smaller ones.
Place the mushroom packets on the grill. Cook the mushrooms for about 12 to 15 minutes turning the packets every few minutes. Once complete open the packet to test if the mushrooms are tender, if they are sprinkle on a bit of Parmesan cheese and reseal the packet. grill for 3 minutes longer.
Remove from the grill and serve immediately.
Everyone needs a good set of mixing bowls. You are going to find yourself using them all the time. For this recipe you need a smaller mixing bowl, but for other recipes you will need various sizes. So your best bet with mixing bowls is to get a complete set. Here are the mixing bowls that I use.
