Today we are going to show you how to make Grilled Lamb Chops.
I don’t have lamb often enough, but when I do it is usually lamb chops on the grill, because the grill adds so much more flavor to the lamb chops.
This is a really great recipe, the marinade adds a lot of flavor to the lamb chops. This particular marinade is also great for steaks.
Enjoy!
Grilled Lamb Chops
2 lbs lamb chops
1/4 cup distilled white vinegar
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
Combine the vinegar, garlic, onion, olive oil, salt and pepper in a large resealable bag. Add the lamb chops and mix together until they are thoroughly coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least two hours, but preferably overnight.
Setup your gas or charcoal grill for medium-high heat.
Remove the lamb chops from the marinade. Discard any remaining marinade. Place the lamb chops on the grill. Grill for approximately 3 – 5 minutes per side, or until they have reached your desired level of doneness. I prefer my lamb chops medium-rare, so that will be about 145F when taken with an instant read thermometer like this one.
