Today we are going to show you how to make Grilled Garlic Basted Chicken.
This is a super simple way to make chicken on the grill. The garlic gives the chicken a ton of flavor and plus it has some beer in it as well, so what could be better than that.
Enjoy!
Grilled Garlic Basted Chicken
6 chicken quarters
1/2 cup butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 cup beer
1 tbsp parsley, finely chopped
1/2 tsp black pepper, coarsely ground
In a small saucepan melt the butter over medium heat. Add in the garlic, and onion. Stirring occationally cook until the oion is soft. Add in the beer and bring to a boil.
Remove from the heat and stir in the parsley and pepper. Pour this mixture into a large bowl. Place the chicken quarters in the mixture, turning to coat them evenly.
Set up your gas or charcoal grill for medium heat.
Take the chicken quarters out of the mixture and place on the grill. Grill for approximately 35 to 45 minutes, turning once half way through grilling. Baste the chicken with the remaining garlic mixture frequently during cooking. I use this basting set, it comes in really handy.
