I’ve always been a big fan of Brussels sprouts, so much so I decided to start growing them in my garden. This is a perfect recipe for anyone who loves their Brussels spouts. It is a pretty simple recipe that has a ton of flavor.
If you love grilled vegetables, you and your family are sure to love it.
Enjoy!
Grilled Brussels Sprouts
12 small to medium Brussels Sprouts
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp cracked black pepper
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp celery salt
3 – 6 bacon slices, crumbled
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated or shredded
Clean the Brussels sprouts, than score the bottoms. Place them into a pot of salted boiling water for 5 minutes.
Drain the water from the pot and put the Brussels sprouts in a bowl. Drizzle on the olive oil and toss with the salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and celery salt.
Set up your gas or charcoal grill for medium-high heat.
Place the Brussels sprouts on the grill. Grill for approximately 12 minutes turning occasionally. A vegetable basket comes in really handy when grilling small vegetables like these, here is the one I use.
Once done, remove from the grill and place in a bowl. Toss with the bacon, lemon zest, and Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
