Today we are going to show you how to make Grand Marnier Grilled Oranges.
I love to grill fruit. Fruit usually caramelizes really well and get a nice sweet flavor.
Oranges are really good on the grill too, and these will be the topping on some vanilla ice cream. You are going to love this recipe.
Enjoy!
Grand Marnier Grilled Oranges
4 to 6 large navel oranges, peeled, pith removed and cut into 1/2 inch slices
1 cup Grand Marnier Cordon Rouge
Vanilla ice cream
Place the orange slices into a baking dish and cover with the Grand Marnier. Flip the orange slices back and forth to get them well coated. Cover the dish and place in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Set up your gas or charcoal grill for medium-high heat.
Place the oranges on the grill, I recommend using a grill pan so they won’t fall through the grates. Here is the grill pan that I use.
Grill for approximately 2 – 4 minutes per side, basting occationally with the remainder of the marinade. The orange slice will be nice and caramelized once they are done.
Serve them hot on top of some vanilla ice cream.
Serves: 4 to 6
