Today we are going to show you how to make Cherry Stuffed Grilled Chicken.
These are not your typical stuffed chicken breasts. The cherry and seasoning stuffing give these breast a really great flavor. The cherries really work with it.
It is a pretty simple recipe that you are sure to really like.

Cherry Stuffed Grilled Chicken
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 1/2 cups fresh sweet cherries, pitted and coarsely chopped
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 tsp chopped fresh sage
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp white wine vinegar
1 1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 tsp coarse ground pepper
In a large mixing bowl combine the chopped cherries, onion, sage, salt, and thyme. Mix well.
Take the chicken breasts and on the thicker side, slice a pocket in which to put the stuffing. Sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
Stuff about a quarter of the cherry stuffing into each chicken breast pocket and seal with a skewer or toothpicks.Combine the cherries, onion, sage, salt and thyme; mix well.
Cut a pocket on the thicker side of the chicken breast; sprinkle lightly with salt if desired.
Stuff one-quarter of the cherry mixture into the pocket; close opening with metal skewers or tooth picks.
To make the marinade combine th oil, vinegar, garlic salt and pepper. Mix well. Marinate stuffed chicken breasts for at least 1/2 hour in refrigerator.
While the chicken breasts are marinating, set up your gas or charcoal grill for medium-high heat.
Brush the chicken breasts with some of the marinade than place on the grill for approximately 12 – 16 minutes, flipping once half way through grilling. Apply the marinade often while grilling.
Once finished serve immediately.
