I’m pretty much a rookie on how to use it, so any pointers or tips on custimization or how to better utilize it would be great.

I figured it was a great way to meet other foodies and food & drink bloggers. I basically started following other Foodies & Food Bloggers I happened to find on Twitter. If you are on Twitter let me know, I’d probably like to follow you. And if you’d like to follow me I’m TomFromMTF.

Also, for those of you on Twitter, who are your Top 10 Foodies or Food & Drink Bloggers to follow? I’d love to know who your must follows are.

Be sure to follow me: TomFromMTF

Mastering the Flame was born out of my passion for food. I love everything about food. There are so many things to enjoy about food. You can take in the aromas, flavors, textures, and colors, but that is only part of it. Food changes across cultures, geographic location, seasons, and history. These examples of the different aspects of enjoying food are just a handful. Each person is different in how they may enjoy a meal. And if you are here the chances are you enjoy food.

To me, there is nothing better than firing up the grill. The flame, the smoke, and the smell just gets me going. It is a time to enjoy family and friends. The whole experience that revolves around the meal is one to be enjoyed. For me cooking is a time of focus and fun. I get lost in the experience. Half the enjoyment in the meals I cook is the preparation. Don’t get me wrong, I love; I mean love the end product and watching others enjoy it, but the journey is also fun.

Mastering the Flame is here to share my passion with you, and also hopefully increase the passion for food in all of us. So get out there, fire up that grill and enjoy the experience with your friends and family.
